Once the BML directory team builds a local directory for the newspaper or media-group partner, BML will schedule classroom training for leadership and sales representatives. Based on experience, classroom-training sessions are limited to 15 people per session. A classroom-training session lasts for approximately 3 hours, during which the basics about the BML digital sales offerings are explained. The classroom training provides sales representatives and other attendees with the basic information and techniques necessary to sell BML’s digital services. BML’s presenters stress that sales representatives do not have to be “techies” to succeed. Question-and-answer periods are interspersed every 20 minutes to allow attendees to raise questions. Attendees will be given access to the classroom-training materials, which are posted in the BML library.
